Looks interesting…

SURFACE is an experimental film, exploring the emotional journey from an underground urban perspective.
This ‘urban symphony’ transforms human actions and street objects into beats that harmoniously compose a grand audio and visual composition. The film emphasizes the ideas of ‘point of contact’, ‘human identity’ and notion of ‘live footprints’.

In early March, India and other countries with big Hindu populations usher in spring and represent the triumph of good over evil with what basically amounts to a national multi-coloured water fight in the street. People head out of their houses and cover each other in coloured paints, powders, waters, and dyes. It’s the literal, visual interpreatation of the colourful re-birth of spring come to life on people’s bodies.
Too beautiful not to pass on. More photos after jump.

Neat graphic. Red is more sinful, blue less sinful.

Geographers from Kansas State University map the spatial distribution of the seven deadly sins in the United States. These types of maps are always kind of iffy as they draw from data from various sources gathered with different methods and usually use some kind of researcher-defined metric. Still interesting though… right?

Has anyone heard of this flick? Looks eerie and awesome. Trailer on the movie’s site.
Oh and it’s playing for a week at the Ken Cinema starting this Friday.
A new skate flick directed by Spike Jonze and Ty Evans. Please just take a couple minutes and watch this thing through. Slow at the start but well worth the wait. I’m in love with every second of this. Fullscreen a must.

Ok if you are anything like me you listen to music at your desk all day everyday …well at least most of the day. And when my complete iTunes library is not at my fingertips I usually let a playlist-making music service of some sort do the work.
Above are a select few of some internet radio and song finder services. Some are simple, others are quite intricate. Just wanted to get some insight to what other people use.
My favs are Pandora and Grooveshark.

Okay so I thought maybe I just didn’t notice it until now but as of this year Google has updated their fav icon. Now I know Google isn’t really know for their amazing designs and extravagant style and it’s not like they’ll loose users over this, but personally I’m not a fan. How bout you guys?

And after digging into it a little deeper I found this post from Google. Turns out they actually experimented with a few hundred variations.
This is classic. So well put together. I love it.
Everything is just a few hundred clicks away.

Let’s here it. Who would rock these bad boys?
The SIG, or “Self-Energy Converting Sunglasses” are quite simple. The lenses of the glasses have dye solar cells, collecting energy and making it able to power your small devices through the power jack at the back of the frame. “Infinite Energy: SIG”

So I yanked these from an email thread that you might’ve seen. There are some great ones in here. Take a peak.
