What’s the coolest toilet you’ve seen?

Okay, I want input here. I think the Japanese pretty much dominate cutting-edge toilet design. Are there any commodes you lust after? Any super-well-designed toilets out there you wanna post? I’d like to see a well-rounded gallery. I’ll get us started with this Toto Neorest:

toilet

Toto took a lesson from the original Apple iMac playbook here, with a nice, fully saturated color for everyone. And seriously, shouldn’t toilets be more colorful? The current white or beige color-scheme is kind of equivalent to beige pre-iMac cases. This could be a revolution.

C’mon, lemme see your favorites. I know there are some amazing toilets out there, both design- and feature-wise.

Ooh, a call for participation - I like it.

I still really want a Toto Washlet. The cheapest model is around $300, going on up a bit over $1000 for the superdeluxe one. Auto-flush, warm seat, front and rear washing, air dry (3 temperatures), massage, air purifier, wireless LCD remote…

    I mean, seriously. http://www.totousa.com/Default.aspx?tabid=113

The Comby from Neo-Metro is a sensible choice for small spaces. And stainless is so hygienic!

Ooh! It’s like crapping at prison!

Wow, agree with you there Lee. Although efficient with space and hygiene, I don’t wanna cold stainless steel prison pisser to wake up to.

Don’t think I have ever thought this thoroughly about toilets. Lee, your Toto looks legit. I can’t get over the remote. When I was in Japan a couple months back I peed upon this fine wonder. A big saver on space, and I could actually start washing my hand before I was even done! Honestly the bathroom was smaller than a portapoty. My back was against the door. Ironically enough, it was a Toto (American-made) toilet. Just glad I didn’t have to go #2.
