Carpenter Carlos Alberto is just showing off in creating this beautiful woodified Vespa. I love some of the detail, and the juxtaposition of the mechanical parts inside the wooden body (though I’m not a fan of the wheels). Some more pics after the jump, many more on Carlos’ site.

Ooh — I’m on a new Vespa kick (I’m diggin’ the newly announced GTS-350). This one would probably fly apart on the freeway. The wheels look like little dartboards.
