Jacob’s post about Ray Loewy’s bathroom got me thinking about Dieter Rams’s work for Braun, but I mistakenly thought that he’d worked for Dupont, so I started searching Google’s new archive of LIFE images for Dupont. I ended up at the image above and got my mind blown.

There’s a totally awesome story behind this image, but I don’t know what it is. I could spend all day clicking on the related images Google serves up with it (btw, Google’s UI wins again).
